Selling the shop you built is one of the most consequential decisions of your career. Word travels fast in the automotive community. We treat that reality with the seriousness it deserves.
Our confidentiality promise
From the moment you fill out the valuation form, your interest in a possible sale is held in confidence. Your customers, your employees, your competitors, and your suppliers will not learn about our conversations from us.
What this means in practice
- NDA from day one. Our standard mutual NDA is signed before any financials, customer lists, or employee details change hands.
- Need-to-know only. Within ID AutoWorks, your information is shared only with the small acquisition team working your deal.
- No public references. We will never mention you or your shop in marketing, press, or investor materials without your written consent.
- Secure data exchange. Financials are exchanged through encrypted channels and stored in access-controlled environments.
- Return or destroy on request. If you decide not to proceed, we will return or destroy your materials and confirm in writing within ten business days.
If you have not signed an NDA yet
The intake form on our website asks for a revenue band rather than dollar figures, and never asks for customer or employee data. Until we have a mutual NDA in place, do not share anything more specific by email. We are happy to send the NDA first if you prefer.
